Political tenure[edit | edit source]

House Majority Leader[edit | edit source]

After the opposition gained control of the House of Representatives in the 2014 midterm elections, Mary King became House Majority leader.

In order to prevent a government shutdown, Vice President Selina Meyer conducted budget meetings with King. They were unable to settle on a budget agreement at first, and continued the negotiations at Catherine Meyer's 21st birthday party. However, President Stuart Hughes rejected the deal and shut down the government to avoid attention from the spy scandal stemming from the Uzbek hostage crisis.

After Meyer became president in 2016, one of her first requests was for Sue Wilson to set up a meeting with opposition leaders Jim Marwood and Mary King.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

She is portrayed by Mimi Kennedy.
