Jim Owens is the former Director of Communications for President Hughes and briefly President Meyer, and a recurring character in the fourth and fifth seasons of Veep.
Season 4[]
Jim is the Director of Communications for the Meyer Administration at the start of the season four, a holdover from the Hughes administration. He appears to be good pals with Mike McLintock, the White House press secretary. He is fired and replaced by Bill Ericsson that February.
Season 5[]
Jim re-appears at the White House Congressional Ball on December 15, 2016, having just gotten a Hockey job Mike has been eyeing.
