Bill O'Brien is an American politician, former U.S. Senator from Arizona and a Presidential Candidate going against Selina Meyer in the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election. He is a member of the Red Party, and is portrayed by Brad Leland.

Senator & Presidential Candidate (2013 - 2017)

O'Brien makes his first appearance in Chung, when Dan and Amy go out to dinner with him for support on Selina's filibuster reform. In the first season, his policies as "anti-immigration" and "pro-caucasian".

O'Brien makes his second appearance on TV in D.C., criticizing President Stuart Hughes during impeachment talks, saying "A cloud of suspicion hangs over this administration. Were there cover ups? Lies?"

In Season 4, O'Brien becomes the Red Party presidential nominee and chooses New Mexico Senator Laura Montez for his running mate. He makes another appearance in Mommy Meyer at the Presidential Debate. On the night of the election, Selina calls him to concede, but upon learning that Pennsylvania's projection was a mistake, doesn't concede, to O'Brien's anger. The election ends in a historic tie.

The vote goes to Congress where O'Brien loses and his running mate, Laura Montez, wins the presidency. In a press conference, Montez says that O'Brien supports her presidency.
